I noticed the protective rods for the sight glass are missing.I use one of them to reem out the ports that connect the sight glass to the boiler.especially the bottom one.drain the boiler, remove the glass,remove the hand wheels and stick the rod horizontally into the boiler,if it's sludgey, fill boiler slightly so water runs out lower port,reem again till clear.this might be all you need
